The CPO futures extended its morning losses to close the day with 43 points lower as selling momentum gained pace following more erosions in soyoil prices which lost another 60 points as of now in addition to 66 lost last night and also with sharp pressures from the Dalian which saw triple digit losses today. Volumes closed out at a high 51426 lots.

Decidedly more coverings for olein today given the sharp losses moreover tomorrow (Friday) is by convention a reversal day so buyers were mostly prudent with purchases today. Olein lost US$10-15 while minor products were very reluctant to come off in spite of having few suitors.

The CPO futures market closed this morning’s session weak with a decline of 33 points lower as sentiment fed on itself to promote more bearishness. Volumes swelled to 19594 lots as everyone seemed bent to sell, aided by a 66 points loss at the overnight soyoil futures and a slight strengthening of the Ringgit today.
